- Come & Try’s can be set up in the same way as all other products are set up - Products are what your members sign up to: https://support.timingsolutions.com.au/hc/en-us/articles/115003791383-RegistrationHQ-Setup-Overview#h_01FAY6FP93SEY7TQHE9FMQERYN

Each Centre has the ability to set up 'Come & Try' products, allowing them to customise various options such as:
-
- Trial types,
- Duration (number of days)
- Pricing etc.
-
- Typically, LA 'Come & Try' trials are advertised for 2 weeks, but the centre can set up for whatever duration they choose. This period either begins on the first event day OR from the date of sign up if the season has already started.
- In cases where a Centre sets up trial event days prior to the official start of the season, the trial period will commence from that date, even if the event is later removed.
- By navigating to Registration > Setup, (see below) you can view the trial products that a Centre has created for the season, as well as the number of athletes currently active in these trials (i.e., those still participating (or able to still participate).
- The Centre will only show trialists as inactive, once the trial period that was set up by the Centre has expired, regardless of the advertised time frame. (For example, if the Centre sets up a trial product for 21 days, even if advertised for 14, the trialist will be active until the 21 days is up).
- Please note, the displayed figures do not include trialists who have either completed the trial and registered for the season or decided not to continue. Trialists are included in the membership numbers and graphs while they are still active.
-
If the Centre wishes to manually remove them, they can adjust the trial period to zero. It will take around 24 hours for the system to update, as it runs a daily 'expiry checker' that removes expired trialists from the counts.
- (Please note, if the Centre manually adjusts the trial period to zero, that trialist will no longer be able to participate.)
- Trial Extensions: While Centres can set-up trials for any duration they choose, including multi-use trials, but once the trial period ends and the athlete is moved to history/inactive status, the Centre cannot extend that trial. Work Around: Although not recommended, the Centre may set up a new trial product and request that the family register for it - Please note that this will impact reporting on trialists, and the Centre will need to manually manage this if required.
- Communications: ResultsHQ automatically sends an email to families 2 days before their trial period ends and another notification when the trial is suspended.
