This feature ensures a smooth and efficient bulk athlete attendance via nominations and denominations for events. This is usually performed on the morning of meet day and done for meets where you choose to nominate members later instead of the at the point of meet creation.
5.1 Checking In Athletes
- Click on the Check-In Tile.
- Which will then lead you to select a meet to mark attendance.
- Clicking on a meet will bring you to the Check-In screen for the meet date selected.
- Select the athletes you want to check in by tapping the checkboxes next to their names.
- To check in all athletes, tap the "Select All" checkbox at the top of the list.
- After selecting all the athletes, tap the "Save" button at the bottom of the screen to save the Check-In information.
- A confirmation popup will appear asking you to confirm the nomination. Tap "Yes, nominate" to proceed.
- All athletes who were checked in this way are now automatically nominated for all their respective events.
- If an athlete is checked in you can also uncheck them and save so that they are now denominated.
- If an athlete was not checked in and is therefore denominated, if he subsequently comes to the meet and attends his even, you can simply nominate him from the event screen and it will automatically nominate him for all eligible events.
5.2 Checking In Athletes by Event
If you only want to check athletes in for specific events without impacting their attendance for other events on the day (for example, to mark attendance only for the 100m, 200m, and 400m without affecting field events), you can use the event filter on the Check-In screen.
- From the Check-In screen, use the event filter to select the event or events you want to check athletes in for.
- The filter supports selecting a single event, multiple events, or all events.
- The athlete list will update to show athletes eligible for the selected event(s).
- Select the athletes you want to check in for those events and tap "Save".
- On the confirmation popup, tap "Yes, nominate" to proceed.
- The check-in action applies only to the selected events — nominations for any other events the athlete is eligible for are not affected.
When using the StartLine Build feature for races built off this check-in, the build will only include athletes who are nominated to that specific event. If an athlete is not nominated to the event, they will not be included in the build.
5.2 Filtering and Searching Athletes
- Use the filter buttons to narrow down the list of athletes by gender, age, or club.
- Use the event filter to limit the check-in list to one or more specific events.
- Toggle the "Show Checked-In" switch to display only athletes who have or have not checked in.
- Use the SEARCH bar to find a specific athlete by name.
- Use the SORT dropdown to sort athletes by ID or other criteria.
