Overview & Minimum Device Requirements
Please begin by reviewing the ResultsHQ Mobile App Summary – Timing Solutions Support Forum for a high-level overview.
To use the new ResultsHQ app effectively, we recommend the following minimum device specifications:
- RAM: At least 2GB of RAM for both mobile and tablet devices.

Operating System:
- Android: Version 6.0 or higher
- iOS: Version 13.4 or higher
- Device Release Year: For optimal performance, use a device released from 2020 onwards.
Getting Started with the ResultsHQ App
To get started, download the ResultsHQ app from the App Store or Google Play Store.
Available Roles in the Mobile App
Roles: The app offers a primary administrative role with full Centre access, four delegated administrative roles, and a limited-access volunteer role.
a. SuperUser – Full access. Set up in Centre Admin on the web.
b. ResultsHQMobile ResultsEntryUser – Results Entry only.
c. ResultsHQMobile StartlineUser – StartLine only.
d. ResultsHQMobile CheckInUser – Check-In only.
e. ResultsHQMobile CR Approver – Record Approvals only.
f. Volunteer – Volunteers have no default access. They must scan volunteer tokens set up by SuperUsers in the app. For more details see: User Guide | 3.1 Creating a volunteer profile
Please note: Assignment to these roles provides access to the mobile app only and does not include web Centre Admin access.
Setting Up a SuperUser
Getting Started with Full Access: To use the application with full access, you must be set up as a SuperUser in Centre Admin.
- Navigate to https://centreadmin.resultshq.com.au/Login and log in.
- Click Setup → Users.
- Click Add User.
- Fill in the required fields.
- Select SuperUser under access level.
- Click Submit.
- The user will receive an email invitation to accept.
Assigning Delegated Feature Access
If you want to assign additional or alternative roles:
a. Go to Setup → Users, open the user dropdown, and click Edit.
b. Hold Control to select multiple roles.
c. Click Save.
Applying User Restrictions
You can restrict the “ResultsHQMobile” roles or the SuperUser role by Age/Gender/Event:
a. Open the Edit screen
b. Click Mobile Access
c. Select the restrictions you want.
d. Click Add Events.
Restrictions apply in the mobile app to Results Entry and Check-In roles (not StartLine or Record Approvals).
Logging In as a SuperUser
a. Enter your email and tap Next.
b. Enter your password.
c. Tap the eye icon to view your password.
d. If you've forgotten your password, tap Click Here.
e. Tap Login to proceed.
