Introduction
Families change their minds, athletes get injured, and events get nominated for by mistake. As a Centre Super User you can edit or remove a family's nominations after they have been submitted.
How you do it depends on whether the nomination has been paid for. A paid nomination can be edited event by event. A nomination that is still awaiting payment cannot — it has to be voided in full, and the family or centre then nominates again.
What This Document Covers
- Which method to use, depending on payment status
- Editing a nomination that has been paid for
- Voiding a nomination that is awaiting payment
Feature Explanations
Which method applies to you
The two methods are not interchangeable. Check the payment status first, then follow the matching section.
| Nomination status | What you can do | Where |
| Paid | Edit event by event — withdraw individual events and keep the rest | Manage Family Events |
| Awaiting payment | Void the whole nomination, then nominate again | Unpaid tab → Void |
Non-financial meets
Meets that are free and require no payment are edited the same way as paid nominations — use the first method below.
Why unpaid nominations have to be voided
A nomination awaiting payment cannot be amended event by event. The whole nomination is voided, which clears it entirely, and the family or centre then nominates again for the correct events.
Before You Start
- You need Centre Super User access.
- Know which meet the nomination is for, and which member it belongs to.
- Check whether the nomination has been paid — it determines which method you use.
Step-by-Step Guidance
Editing a nomination that has been paid
Use this method for paid nominations, and for meets that are non-financial and require no payment.
- Click the Registration tab, then select Status Manager.
- On the Status Manager screen, click Nominations. From the dropdown, select the meet you want to edit nominations for.
- Find the member whose nomination you want to change, then click their ID.
- Click Manage Family Events.
- Uncheck the boxes for the events you want to withdraw from, then click Next.
-
Click Save Events once you have finished editing the nomination.
- Note this also applies to meets that are non-financial and don't require payment.
- Uncheck the boxes for the events you want to withdraw from nomination, then click 'Next
- You can click on save events if you have completed editing the nomination.
Voiding a nomination that is awaiting payment
If a meet requires payment and the nomination has been submitted but not yet paid for, it cannot be edited event by event. Void it, then nominate again.
| Step | What to do |
| 1 | Click the Registration tab, then select Status Manager. |
| 2 | Click Nominations and select the meet from the dropdown. |
| 3 | Make sure you are on the Unpaid tab, then find the member whose nomination you want to void. |
| 4 | Click the Void button against that member. |
| 5 | The nomination is now voided. The centre can nominate the athlete again for the correct events. |
| Voiding clears the whole nomination. Every event the athlete was nominated for is removed, not just the ones you wanted to change. Make a note of the events they should keep before you void, so you can re-nominate correctly. |
