TINY TOTS - NOT in ResultsHQ

Tiny Tots and ResultsHQ

Some States prohibit Tiny Tots from being synced into ResultsHQ in line with Little Athletics guidance and State-level policy.

State guidance currently determines that Tiny Tots must not be included in ResultsHQ for the following States:

LANSW, LAVIC, AW, LAQ, SALAA & LATAS

Tiny Tots – Little Athletics Guidance

Little Athletics provides guidance that Tiny Tots is a non-competitive, play-based introductory program for young children.

The program is designed to give children their first experience of athletics in a fun, safe, and supportive environment, with an emphasis on enjoyment and participation rather than performance.

Tiny Tots focuses on learning through play, helping children develop fundamental movement skills without competition, in line with Little Athletics philosophy.

Accordingly:

• The focus is on fundamental movement skills, not competition

• Participation and fun are the key goals

Generally:

• No times, placings, or measurements are to be recorded for Tiny Tots
  (contact your State Office if guidance is required)

• Participation should be flexible, with athletes encouraged to attend as often as they like

• Participation may be tracked via the Registration Platform, if required

• Any end-of-season recognition should generally be based solely on participation, not performance

🌟 Registration Platform & ResultsHQ

All States are now operating on their respective registration platforms.

In line with Little Athletics guidance and State-level policy for those States that do not allow results recording for Tiny Tots:

• Only athletes in the U6 age group (or U7 in Athletics West) and above are synced to ResultsHQ

• Tiny Tots is not intended to be managed through ResultsHQ, as the program is non-competitive

It was identified that some Centres had previously used ResultsHQ to track Tiny Tots results or attendance. However:

• 🚫 Results recording is not permitted for Tiny Tots in your State, and this functionality is no longer supported

•  All Tiny Tots have been removed from ResultsHQ and cannot be reactivated where prohibited

• 📝 Attendance lists for Tiny Tots can be accessed and printed directly from the Registration Platform

• ⚠️ Under State agreements, Timing Solutions cannot manually add Tiny Tots to ResultsHQ
