Hi everyone,
We hope the season is off to a good start. We covered the essentials in our start-of-season update, so this one is a quick check-in with a few nominations reminders and an update on what’s new in ResultsHQ.
Nominations
1. Card and PayPal processing fees
From 1 October 2026, Australian businesses can no longer pass card or PayPal surcharges on to customers. The option has been removed from the platform, so the processing fee (2% + 30c per transaction) is now deducted from the nomination payments your centre receives. Centres can absorb the fee or adjust their nomination price to cover it.
If your centre already absorbs fees, nothing changes. The Timing Solutions nomination fee is also unchanged.

2. Chargeable nomination meets
Reminder: A meet can become chargeable in two ways. Each athlete is charged only once per meet, even if both apply.
- Results-based (minimum of 10 athletes): no fees are set up in ResultsHQ, and 10 or more external athletes record results. All external athletes who took part are billed.
- External invitation or nomination (no minimum): any external athlete nominated through the external invitation functionality is chargeable, whether or not they go on to compete. This applies when a parent nominates their athlete into the meet, or when an invited centre nominates an athlete directly into the meet.
Host centres using Nominate All, or nominating external athletes themselves, are not charged unless the results-based criteria are met.
Exemptions, combined meets, invoicing and how to dispute a charge are all covered in the article.
3. Additional Centre Profiles
Reminder: ResultsHQ is set up as one profile per centre. Carnival results can now be excluded from points and kept as separate records within your main profile. Where an additional profile is still needed, an annual fee applies:
- $200 + GST for Little Athletics clubs within a State contract
- $300 + GST for all other customers
Any chargeable nominations made in that profile are offset against the fee.
New Features
🎉 Now live in ResultsHQ
Season Rollover:
Is now a guided five-step process. You can export past-season meets and results, and reverse a rollover if needed.

In-page feedback:
Give any new or revamped page a thumbs up or down, with an optional comment, without raising a ticket.

You can now select several events and age groups at once.

🛠️ In progress
Here’s a sneak peek at what we’re working on 👀
New Home dashboard
The landing page is being redesigned so you can see the state of your centre at a glance:
- Summary cards for Records Watch, Top Performers, active members, PBs and meets held this season.
- Recent and upcoming meets, showing which meets still need results entered.
- A Needs Attention panel for anything outstanding, such as nomination invites to review, potential records, or a season ready to roll over.
- A recent activity feed showing what’s changed and who changed it.
Event Records, rebuilt
Event Records is being rebuilt to make records easier to find and manage:
- Summary cards for total, current and historical records.
- Chip-style filters you can collapse when you don’t need them.
- A customisable table with row selection and bulk editing.
- Record History opens from the row itself. It shows every record held for that event, age and gender, with the current record highlighted.
Easier record imports
Imports will show an editable preview before you upload. Any rows with problems are highlighted so you can fix them on the spot, rather than correcting the spreadsheet and starting again.
📣 We’ll keep you posted as the new features roll out over the coming weeks. In the meantime, thank you for the time and energy you put into your centres. Have a great season!
Warm regards,
The Timing Solutions Team
