The ResultsHQ Mobile App is a complementary tool integrated with ResultsHQ for event management. It helps Centres and Schools streamline track and field operations by supporting online/offline results entry, athlete marshalling with the Startline feature, and volunteer logins for event day sign-ins.
Please keep in mind that this is a brand-new app for Timing Solutions. As more users engage with it and provide feedback, we will continue to make updates, improvements, and necessary adjustments.
Key Points to Note:
- Launch Date: Timing Solutions is in the final stages of testing the ResultsHQ App, with the official launch planned for 30th September 2024.
- Compatibility: The App is compatible with iOS and Android mobile devices, as well as iPads and Android tablets. While UI/UX optimisations for iPads and tablets is ongoing, all functions will work as intended. To use the new ResultsHQ app we recommend at least 2GB of RAM on your mobile/tablet device and we only support the following minimum OS Version onwards:

- The Centre superuser can also define specific Age / Gender / Event restrictions for the Results Entry User via the "Mobile Access" button when editing user roles in the Centre Admin on the web.
Please note: Assignment to the above roles provides access to the ResultsHQ Mobile App only and does not include Centre Admin access on the web. For web access, a Super User must assign it separately following the standard process.
- Volunteer Setup: Centres will need to set up Parents/Volunteers before the event.
- There are two Volunteer options: Results Entry or Startline.
- Centres can either:
- Pre-register volunteers using their email addresses by assigning one or more of the roles above; or
- Create QR codes (for Results Entry and / or Startline) that volunteers can scan to log in on the event day. This access is limited to the event day.

- Volunteer Access: Families and volunteers can access the Volunteer section of the App in one of two ways:
- Being set up as a specific user type by the SuperUser (as above); or
- Scanning a QR code on the event day, which will grant the appropriate permissions.
Important Clarifications:
- Restricted Access: Access for families and volunteers via the QR code is limited to the particular event day.
- Intended Use: The ResultsHQ App is designed to assist Little Athletics Centres in managing their event days. It is not intended for families or Centres to log in and view results.
- Web Interface: For logging into the Family Area or Centre Admin Area of ResultsHQ, please continue using the Web interface as in previous years.
This App is brand new from Timing Solutions, so all feedback is welcome as we continue to improve and refine it—your patience is appreciated.
