‼️ FEBRUARY 2026 - Season Rollover Update
LAQ
- Little Athletics Queensland requested all Centres complete a final member sync on 22/02/26 for the transition from the 2025/2026 to 2026/2027 season.
- Sport:80 does not use seasons, so this ensures a clean transition and prevents old season members from syncing incorrectly.
- Winter Centres: Season Rollover for Winter Centres: Monday 23/02/26.
- Summer Centres: retain access to the current season, but member syncs will cease from Monday 23/02/26.
⚠️Please contact your State Office to reinstate the Member Sync for your Centre, or for any further questions.
“The ResultsHQ Registration Sync enables athletes registered in Sport80 to sync with ResultsHQ, where the athlete’s results are managed”
Note: While Timing Solutions’ ResultsHQ remains the results platform, Centres will continue to have access to the full suite of timing software, data capture tools, family portals, and the Centre Management system, along with all its associated features.
(Only athletes in the U6 to U17 age groups will synchronise from Sport80. For further information regarding Tiny Tots, please contact your State Office)

Trouble logging in? Families Logging into ResultsHQ After a New Season Member Sync – Timing Solutions Support Forum
Note: Prior to syncing, the LAQ State Office needs to complete a step on their end to enable Centres to sync. Once this is done, you should be able to proceed with the sync by following the instructions provided in the support topic.
Preparing for the Sync
1. Update Your ResultsHQ Centre:
-
IMPORTANT: Ensure that your ResultsHQ Centre has been rolled over prior to your first sync.
-
Refer to the: Season Rollover - Getting ready for a new season – Timing Solutions Support Forum for assistance.
2. Email Requirement
All members in Sport80 must have a valid email address.
This email is part of what is used to match them with their family in ResultsHQ.
Members without an email will not be included in the sync.
- In some instances, athletes have not synced due to their email addresses not being passed through the API/integration. This is a known issue with Sport80 and is currently under investigation. For further information, please contact your State Office.
3. Check Member Details
Ensure that First Name, Last Name, Email, Phone Number, Athlete/Bib number, Date of Birth (DOB), and Gender are correct before the first sync.
If an athlete was listed as “Stephen” in ResultsHQ last season but is now registered as “Steve” in Sport80, the sync will update the name to “Steve” in ResultsHQ.
- Incorrect details can cause duplicate accounts.
3(b). TINY TOTS
As per State Advice - Tiny Tots do not sync from Sport80 to ResultsHQ
4. Import Criteria
Only athletes with a VALID Membership/Competition Staus* will be synced as active athletes in ResultsHQ.
- *If you're unable to verify an athlete’s membership status within the registration platform, please contact Sport80 for assistance.
NOTE: Athletes Marked as ‘History’
An athlete’s profile will be made history (archived) in the system if any of the following apply:
- The athlete has been transferred to another Centre or has been refunded.
- The athlete has completed a trial period.
- The athlete’s Sport80 account was suspended due to missing Proof of Age documentation.
Once an athlete has been made history, Centres will no longer be able to view their details or results in ResultsHQ.
Please note: Timing Solutions cannot access information about why a member has been made history. For any questions or clarifications, please contact Sport80 or your Little Athletics State Office.

FAQs
1. Members Not Syncing from Sport80 to ResultsHQ
If athletes are not appearing in ResultsHQ after syncing from Sport80, please follow the steps below to troubleshoot:
Step 1 - Verify Athlete Details in Sport80
Ensure each athlete has the following required information completed and correct in Sport80:
- Email Address
- First Name,
- Last Name,
- Phone Number,
- Athlete/Bib number,
- Date of Birth (DOB), and
- Gender
Step 2 – Confirm Membership Status via Sport80
Athletes must hold a valid, fully paid membership in Sport80 (with a VALID Membership/Competition Status*) to sync as active athletes in ResultsHQ.
*If you're unable to verify an athlete’s membership status within the registration platform, please contact Sport80 for assistance.
Still Not Syncing??
If all required information listed above is correct in Sport80 and the athlete is still not syncing to ResultsHQ:
1. Contact Timing Solutions at support@timingsolutions.com.au with the following athlete details:
Full Name, DOB, Athlete Number, Centre, State AND Membership Status*
2. If Timing Solutions is also unable to see the athlete data coming through from the Sport80 sync, please escalate the issue by contacting Sport80 or your State Office.
Be sure to explain that: "Timing Solutions is unable to see the athlete data being provided by Sport80 via the sync."
✉️2. Changing Family Account Email Address During a Season:
- To successfully update your family email address, it’s essential that the change is made in the Registration platform (Sport80).
- Please note: Updating the email address yourself in Sport80 does not always sync correctly with ResultsHQ. Sport80 is currently investigating this issue.
To ensure the change flows through properly:
Step 1: Correctly update the Email Address in the Registration Platform.
Contact Sport80 or your State Office directly to request the email update.
- (Note - Timing Solutions cannot assist with this step as they are not the Registration provider)
Step 2: Request a Sync
Ask your Centre (or State) to perform a member sync - This will update the family email address in ResultsHQ.
Step 3: Accessing Your ResultsHQ Account
If you’ve previously logged into ResultsHQ:
- Your user account is already established, and changing your email in Sport80 will not update your ResultsHQ login details.
- You’ll need to log in to ResultsHQ using your old credentials and manually update your login email under your account settings.
OR
If you’ve never logged into ResultsHQ before:
- Go to resultshq.com.au
- Click on "Trouble logging in?"
- Enter the new email address you updated in Sport80
- You will receive an email with a link to reset your credentials
- Once reset, return to resultshq.com.au and log in using your new details
👨👩👧👦3. Siblings Registered with Different Email Addresses:
- If siblings have been registered with different email addresses (e.g. each parent used their own), the systems will treat them as separate families.
To link the family in ResultsHQ:
Step 1: Update the Email Address.
Contact Sport80 to ensure both children share the same email address in the registration platform.
- (Note - Timing Solutions cannot assist with this step as they are not the Registration provider)
Step 2: Request a Sync
Ask your Centre (or State) to perform a member sync - This will update the family email address in ResultsHQ.
Step 3: Merge in ResultsHQ
If you’ve previously logged into ResultsHQ:
- Once the sync is complete, the Centre or family should contact Timing Solutions to merge the family in ResultsHQ, linking the siblings under one profile.
Note:
In some rare cases, the updated email address in the registration platform (as seen by the customer) does not correctly sync from Sport80 to ResultsHQ. When this occurs, any merge completed in ResultsHQ will be overridden by the next Sport80 sync.
If this happens, please contact Sport80 (or your State Office) to have them manually correct the email address being sent through the sync. Once Sport80 has resolved the issue and the data has resynced correctly, the Centre or family should contact Timing Solutions to re-merge the family in ResultsHQ.
4. Incorrect Member information (e.g. Bib Numbers) After Sync:
If any Centres encounter incorrect details after syncing, please verify the details are correct in the Sport80 Platform.
Once confirmed, performing another sync should resolve the issue.
- If details are correct and the member is valid / active in the Sport80 platform, and the information is still incorrect, please email us at support@timingsolutions.com.au.
5. Athletes in Younger Age Groups than Expected:
The likely cause is that the Centre has not yet rolled over to the new season.
Ensure that the Centre has completed the season rollover first, which should resolve the age group discrepancy.
6. Managing Trialist Athletes in ResultsHQ:
A Trialist is an athlete who has signed up for a trial period (not a full membership) through your approved registration platform (e.g., Sport80).
Key Points for Trialists
-
Recognition in ResultsHQ
A Trialist will only be recognised if the trialist flag is set in the registration platform at the time of the athlete’s initial sync into ResultsHQ.
If the athlete is synced without the trialist flag, they cannot be retrospectively marked as a Trialist.
-
Follow-Up for Missing or Incorrect Flags
‼️ If a Trialist DOES NOT appear correctly in ResultsHQ, first check with your Registration Provider to ensure:
The athlete is flagged correctly as a Trialist.
The flag is properly syncing into ResultsHQ.
-
Chargeability
Athletes not flagged correctly at the time of sync are treated as fully chargeable immediately under the standard per-season ResultsHQ licence fee.

Registration Data from Sport80: what is & is NOT provided
Athlete & Family Structure in ResultsHQ
A family is identified by their email address and includes their registered athletes.
Each athlete is linked to the Centres where they compete.
Families can have primary, secondary, and emergency contacts.
Athletes may compete in multiple Centres during their lifetime or season.
Centres manage details such as membership numbers and club affiliations.
Athletes are identified by a combination of Family ID, Member ID, and Family Email. If these are unavailable, identification is based on First Name, Last Name, and Date of Birth.
Centres can manage an athlete’s or family’s details (e.g., email, contact information, names, date of birth) only if they are directly linked to that Centre.
Only valid and active members will sync from Sport80 to ResultsHQ.
