Introduction

The All-Time Season PB feature allows centres to carry forward an athlete’s best-ever Season PB from any previous season into the current season.
This ensures that each athlete begins a new season with their peak performance record, rather than only the most recent season’s PB.

Feature Explanation

Previous Season PB (Existing Option)

• Uses the athlete’s PB from the last completed season as the initial PB for the new season.

• Example: If an athlete’s 2023 PB was 14.2s, then that becomes their starting PB for 2024.

All-Time Season PB (New Option)

• Uses the athlete’s best PB across all historical seasons as the initial PB for the new season.

• Example: If an athlete ran 13.8s in 2021 and 14.2s in 2023, their 2024 season will begin with 13.8s.

Key Rule: Only one option can be active — either Previous Season PB or All-Time Season PB.

Step-by-Step Guidance

How to Enable All-Time Season PB

1. Login to the Centre Portal.

2. Navigate to Setup → Points Setup → PB.

3. Under PB Setup options, you will see:

   • Use Previous Season PB (existing)

   • Use All-Time Season PB (new option)

4. Select Use All-Time Season PB.

5. Click Save to apply the configuration.

Once enabled, the system will automatically use each athlete’s best historical PB as their starting PB for the new season.

Important Notes

• Only one PB option can be selected at a time.

• Changing the setting will apply for all athletes in the centre.

• The feature impacts new season PB initialisation only — it does not overwrite existing season records.

• If an athlete records a new PB in the current season that is better than their All-Time PB, the system will automatically update their record.
