True Inclusion Method (TIM)

TIM (True Inclusion Method) is a ranking system where athletes have their places calculated based on the difference from their PB. Setting this to YES will allow centres to control if their athletes can see their TIM rank.

The state admin portal can turn on and off the ability to show or hide a setting in the centre admin screen. This allows the centres to turn on or off the additional TIM columns in their results entry screen and other reporting screens, including the family results area too.

State Admin

This is how to enable the TIM in the state admin area.

Centre Admin

Once the State has enabled the TIM option, the centres will see this option in their Options. Note the TIM numbers can be manually recalculated via Event - Season Recalculate - PB. Otherwise, the system will fully recalculate the TIM values at midnight.

Results Entry

The results entry screen looks like this now. Note the first week of results had no TIM values. However, the Season Best reference was recorded. Then in the second week of results, the TIM value is calculated based on the current Season Best value. So it is the difference between the Season Best and the result that is shown below.
